LAI Video’s #ReopenStrong campaign, a collaboration with DC Public Schools, won in the Best Public Service Announcement category. For this campaign, the team pivoted its approach to create a unique content package leveraging PSAs, roundtable interviews, and 80 school spotlights to showcase DCPS’s immense readiness plan for reopening schools while prioritizing safety and maximizing learning.
Given the need to social distance and create a safe setting for production, filming over 80 PSA videos for DC schools in just six weeks proved to be one of LAI Video’s most challenging and high-profile projects to date. This achievement recognizes the team’s hard work and dedication, and cements this campaign’s place in history. The campaign was viewable on each school’s page on the #ReopenStrong website and quickly amassed more than 40,000 views in the weeks after its posting.
LAI Video is honored that this collaboration with longtime partner DCPS has been so well-received and to have had the opportunity to play a role in the city’s efforts to welcome back its students and staff.
