We hope that your new year has been off to a great start! We’re so, so excited to share just a sliver of the work coming out of LAI Video in the last two months.
Making Credentialing Cool
In January, NRF Foundation launched RISE Up — a sweeping industry-wide education and credentialing program. Working closely with NRF for the better part of a year, we produced a carefully-planned series of nine videos to tease and explain the program on a practical and spiritual level. The campaign rolled out with day-in-the-lifes, call-to-actions, animated-explainers and Morgan Freeman-style trailers.
It’s Still a Very BIG Show
In New York, we sent a seven-nerd team to our sixth BIG Show for the National Retail Federation. This year, we completely overhauled the stale intro video model, produced an overnight recap of the glam Foundation Gala and also captured the BIG Show’s overall BIG-ness with some dramatic dolly (and hover board!) shots.
We Now Make Hospital Videos
Working with our first hospital partner, we completed one of three promotional videos for MedStar NRH. Focusing on the breadth of their services, state-of-the-art facilities and world class staff, Not Just a Hospital rehabilitates NRH’s brand into a network that’s as robust as it is intimate.
Association foundations are not just a fad — they’re taking on some seriously ambitious initiatives! We worked with the NCTA Foundation on a new “gives back” campaign that highlights the substantial grants it awarded to local, technology-based non-profits. After the big check photo-ops, we produced a series of heart-warming videos that properly tell the Foundation story.
From Marketing to Meeting
In the midst of a BIG Show, we were also working to prep oodles of videos for the International Franchise Association’s Convention. We developed promotional material and show content, as well as two on-site videos that firmly established and celebrated #IFA2017 as the premier event in franchising.
A Christmas Pest
Before the end of the year, we squeezed out a bonus “Holiday Special” of the popular #GiveaCrop campaign. While the Christmas season is super-over, the comedy sketch served as a great example of staying flexible with a marketing strategy and being responsive to the times.
Our first ever “inspiration handbooks” are here. The Annual Manual To Being Good at Marketing (Volume 1) serves as a case study / capabilities brochure, as well as an enjoyable page-turner with multiple Back to the Future references.
Speaking About Video…
Posing as leading authorities on video marketing, Helena and I spoke about hot trends during a breakout at the IFA Convention. It was standing-room only as we covered best practices as seen on TV and social campaigns. Learn more about the talk and the Shark Tank-style team exercise here.
