#PharmacyVoter

LAI Video recently completed a two-part video campaign with the National Association of Chain Drug Stores. The task was simple: launch a rock-the-vote campaign for pharmacists.

Prescribing the Right Method

We developed a one-two punch of 30-second spots designed to encourage pharmacists to vote this election season. The campaign never promoted a specific agenda or candidate; it simply reminded pharmacists that they need to be as politically-engaged as they are patient-accessible. The first spot acknowledged that the vote you don’t make, is about as useful as the dose you don’t take.

Moving Pill Bottles

Working closely with Justin on the copy, Tiffany developed an original style for the grassroots effort that had little more than a hashtag to its name. Using a bright and fluorescent palette, we developed a 3D pill bottle to “pop” overtop the otherwise flat background and make the vote / dose metaphor as memorable as possible. The shapes and colors complimented the narrator — a younger voice meant to target a younger demographic.

Make Your Mark

Following “Effective,” the second spot more superficially focuses on Congress’s affinity for pharmacists, but warns viewers that they do not want to lose “Momentum” on issues that may dramatically impact their profession. The commercials end with a call to action for viewers to visit PharmacyVoter.org, a website full of resources for energized pharmacists and companies to recruit more movers and shakers.
