But rather than do a standard biographical overview of Danny’s career and contributions, we assembled the best chef’s in the world to speak to the culinary entrepreneur’s philanthropic feats.

For the Man Who Has Everything

Share Our Strength has collaborated with Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group for the past 24 years, raising almost $5 million for kids in need across the country. For the 25th Annual Autumn Harvest Dinner, the organization wanted to pay a special thank you to the legendary humanitarian, Danny Meyer. Melinda, Tori, Favata and Loizou put their heads together to propose something thoughtful — a fireside conversation of sorts inspired by the popular “group talk” format seen in programs like The Hollywood Reporter’s award-winning Roundtables series.

Chefs of the Round Table

Shot in New York City, we assembled a who’s who of celebrity chefs, including Marcus Samueulsson, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Suzanne Cupps, Mike Anthony, Eric Ripert and Daniel Humm. Alexandria and De’von directed the group discussion, which was moderated by Share Our Strength’s Co-Founder Debbie Shore. Dressed in their best chef’s whites, the panel spoke to their personal relationships with Danny and his contributions to the American food scene. Serving a more inspirational note for the fundraising event, the chefs praised Danny’s belief that good cooking and good people can be a force for good in our communities.
