Director of Operations + Client Experience organizes and oversees the operations of the LAI Video business unit at Leading Authorities.
By managing and creating internal processes, leading team members, and building systems that foster customer engagement and satisfaction, the Director is responsible for maintaining the overall health of the division and its long-term success.
LAI Video seeks a well-rounded, process-driven leader, who understands the ultimate needs of our clients and how our team can provide the highest quality service and experience at scale.
Responsibilities
Manage all Operations personnel, focusing on cultivating a culture of efficiency, teamwork, results, and satisfied clients
Establish yearly goals and benchmarks for personnel, fostering employee career and skill development
Conduct regular check-ins with all team members to ensure client deliverables are meeting or exceeding expectations
Hold bi-yearly performance evaluations with team members to measure employee performance
Establish and measure productivity goals for the department and individual employees
Enforce and create new internal processes to manage day-to-day running of business
Ensure all contracted work is adequately staffed with internal resources or trusted external partners, managing client projects within budget and timeline parameters
Manage all external vendor relationships and contracts
Review and report out financial standing of LAI Video and propose operational changes to promote profitability
Research and identify new positions and technology to improve efficiency and expand our client services
Ensure that the division runs with legality and conformity to established industry standards
Work closely with the SVP of LAI Video, Sales Team, and other department heads at Leading Authorities to ensure the business line is moving toward its established goals
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (or higher), preferably in Business, Communications, Media and Video Production, or Marketing
5+ years as Director or Manager of Operations, or comparable position
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
Extraordinary communication and people skills
General knowledge of marketing and video production industries
Working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics
Candidates should be comfortable commuting to the DC office. Leading Authorities is currently a hybrid work environment.
