Retail is everywhere, but most only see the storefront. To reveal the innovation, careers, and impact behind it, the National Retail Federation needed a way to make retail feel personal and essential while engaging retailers across the country.
Broadening Horizons
Retail Across America was a cross-country docuseries spotlighting real retailers. Across 16 states and 68 cities, LAI Video captured unscripted stories that NRF used in long-form features, vignettes, and digital assets to engage the public and members.
Building a Movement
Spanning 45,000 miles and 250 retailers, the campaign earned millions of impressions, strengthened NRF’s member ties, and boosted retail’s image. Repurposed for advocacy, marketing, and national ads, Retail Across America became a lasting storytelling movement.
