Before joining Leading Authorities in December of 2023, Kim spent 6 years in education, both as an English teacher and working for an Ed Tech start-up. She attended the University of Virginia, where she graduated with a B.A. in English Literature and a Master's in Education.

As the Vice President of Creative at LAI Video, James offers his docu-style and motion graphics expertise to transform brands and campaigns. He’s won numerous accolades, including two Emmy® Awards as a Director, for his incredible storytelling and vision. 

James Favata led the creation of “A Teachable Moment” and “Redesign,” two of LAI Video’s most impressive documentary projects, and guides our team’s daily creative exploits.
