LAI Video Wins Emmy for Historic Programming
LAI Video is thrilled to announce that it took home a virtual trophy last weekend during the 62nd Emmy Awards!
Our series with the Department of State, Preserving Our Nation’s History, won Best Historic/Cultural programming. This collection of documentary short films offers viewers a rare and breathtaking behind-the-scenes look at the immaculately-curated Diplomatic Reception Rooms told by the Department's talented team of artisans.

Earlier this year, the same series won a Peer Gold award and Best of Show nomination from the Television, Internet and Video Association of DC.
This Emmy recognition was awarded by the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Our documentary, A Teachable Moment, was also nominated for Best Documentary.
Last year, LAI Video won its first Emmy award for its work on The Swamp.
