Together To End Stroke

LAI Video was honored to partner with the American Stroke Association to help launch the new campaign “Together to End Stroke.” With intentional italics on “Together,” we presented a mosaic of personalities pledging a combined effort to prevent, treat and beat stroke.

Writing to Finish Each Other’s Sentences

ASA made the four-word mantra, but wanted it to become more than just an intuitive title — to become a rallying cry. To allow these words to become the lifeblood for a new way of talking about stroke. Justin was up to the monumental task of scripting this elegant anthem that emphasizes the organization’s three pillars, outlines the signs of stroke and delivers enough emotional punch to recruit viewers to the cause.

Stroke Heroes Assemble

Produced in conjunction with a yet-to-be-completed documentary film on stroke survivors, Tori recruited and coordinated the participation of these “stroke heroes” — stroke survivors, caregivers and others dedicated to ending stroke. With tight close ups and dramatically-lit, natural backdrops, Favata and Jun positioned these heroes to deliver passionate, punchy performances. Driven by an emotional music score, Favata treated the cut that brings the ASA red color throughout the deliveries, visually unifying a message of hope and action.
